Embark on a cultural adventure! Come explore the unique flavors and rich culinary history of South American cuisine with CIA Chef Almir Da Fonseca. Brazilian-born Chef Almir has spent more than 30 years researching and studying his home country’s cuisine, as well as learning about the authentic flavors and techniques of neighboring countries cuisines through extensive travel.



With Chef Almir’s expert guidance, you will examine the blending of the traditional and contemporary flavor profiles of Brazil, Peru, Chile, and Argentina, as well as the wines that have influenced these regions. And after three exhilarating days of hands-on cooking, learning, and interactive tasting, you’ll become familiar with the ingredients, methods, and cultural influences of some of the greatest trending gastronomical areas of the world—places that have inspired some of the most diverse, colorful, and tasty cuisines.
