In this course, you will:
  • Learn to prepare meals using fundamental techniques such as sauté, stir-fry, pan- and deep-fry, grill, broil, roast, shallow- and deep-poach, stew, braise, and steam.

  • Study the principles of deglazing, caramelizing, and other approaches to building and intensifying flavors.

  • Prepare a variety of dishes in teams to reinforce course information.
