Artisan Breads at Home (St. Helena, CA)


Making artisan bread at home is within your reach! With the right tools, techniques, and ingredients, you’ll find it’s much easier than you think. In this hands-on class, we’ll uncover the mysteries of artisan bread baking and show you how to prepare a perfect loaf in your kitchen. We’ll discuss flours and yeast products, preferred equipment, and professional techniques, including proper mixing methods, gluten development, and the 12 steps of bread making. You will then get the chance to roll up your sleeves and prepare and sample a variety of delicious breads.

As a participant in this class, you will receive a CIA logo apron and a copy of an award-winning CIA cookbook to take home.
